 Thursday Faith Thought 

Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. - Matthew 7:24

Jesus told a story about two builders. One built on sand, and when the storms came, his house collapsed. The other built on rock, and when the storms came, his house stood firm.

The difference wasn't the storm.

Both houses faced the same storm. The difference was the foundation.

Life is going to bring some storms. We're going to face some challenges and difficulties and setbacks. But if we build our lives on the solid foundation of God's Word, we can withstand any storm. If we act on what Jesus teaches us, we can stand firm when everything around us is shaking and sinking.

We must Build our lives on the solid foundation of God's Word and Truth.
